Sarah Reale

Sarah Reale is running for election to the Utah State Board of Educations (District 5).

Reale has not previously run for elected office. She works in digital marketing and is currently the Director of Digital Marketing for Salt Lake Community College. She is also an adjunct professor of political science at the college. Reale would be the first openly LGBTQ person to serve on the Board.

Her priorities are fostering safe, inclusive classrooms where all students can feel comfortable to learn, prioritizing resources for mental health support, and providing additional funding and resources for teachers. She has been endorsed by Planned Parenthood of Utah, Equality Utah, LGBTQ Victory Fund, Run For Something, Utah Education Association, Salt Lake Education Association, and numerous other groups and elected officials.
