LPAC Welcomes Meg Columbia-Walsh & Eunic Epstein-Ortiz to Board of Directors

Washington, D.C. –Today, LPAC, the nation’s only organization dedicated to advancing the political representation of LGBTQ+ women and nonbinary candidates, announced that Meg Columbia Walsh (she/her) and Eunic Epstein Ortiz (she/her) have  joined its Board of Directors. Meg Columbia-Walsh will also serve as Treasurer of the Board. 

“LPAC is pleased to welcome both Meg Columbia-Walsh and Eunic Epstein-Ortiz to the Board of Directors,” said Shari Weiner, Chair of the Board at LPAC. “These two extraordinary women are dynamic leaders in their fields who share our values of increasing LGBTQ+ and nonbinary representation in politics.”

About Meg Columbia-Walsh

Meg Columbia-Walsh is a Compass real estate advisor serving Morris Township, Morristown, Morris Plains, Madison, and surrounding areas. Meg has years of successful real estate experience and has an additional specialty in helping LGBTQ+ families.

A lifetime New Jersey resident, Meg is a Rider University graduate and member of the Hall of Fame. Columbia-Walsh, a tech executive and entrepreneur, is also the most successful exited female founders and CEOs in the country. She has built and sold five companies and an IPO, making her the #1 LGBTQ+ person in the country to have done so. 

Proudly serving New Jersey, Meg is also an award-winning agent including the NJ US Congressional Hero Award; Columbia University Distinguished Fellow; InsideNJ: Top 100 LGBTQ Executive; NJ Biz Top 50 Women in Business; NJ Tech Council Innovative Company of the Year. In addition, Walsh is faculty at the Steven’s Institute of Technology, and Rutgers University. When not hustling in the marketplace, Meg is the proud mom of twins who are attending college at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania.


About Eunic Epstein-Ortiz

Eunic Epstein-Ortiz is a nationally recognized political strategist and communications leader with nearly two decades of experience driving strategic campaigns and advancing social initiatives for democracy, voting rights, and social justice. She currently consults with leading national organizations, offering expertise in coalition building, long-term communications strategy, and high-impact political campaigns that mobilize voters and shape public discourse.

As Principal Strategist at eo & co., she partners with clients to develop strategic communication strategies and expand coalition partnerships across both electoral and legislative campaigns.

Eunic has held many senior-level positions at national advocacy organizations, including as Executive Vice President at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, National Political Communications Director for SEIU, and as a senior communications strategist at FleishmanHillard. Her work has been instrumental in achieving hundreds of electoral wins, passing transformative ballot initiatives, and securing landmark civil rights victories. Notably, she led the campaign that passed Florida’s $15 minimum wage amendment during the 2020 elections, a historic achievement in economic justice.

Eunic’s career is defined by her ability to build coalitions and develop strategic initiatives that inspire action and deliver measurable results. In New York, she served as a spokesperson at City Hall under the first openly gay speaker of the New York City Council, Christine C. Quinn. A dedicated LGBTQ+ advocate, Eunic revitalized Equality New York after the 2016 election and served as president of the Stonewall Democrats of NYC, earning recognition from Politico as one of NYC’s “25 Most Remarkable Women” and “10 LGBTQ+ People Making a Difference”.

Eunic began her career in television news, working as a news producer in New York City and her home state of Florida, where she developed a keen understanding of storytelling and media relations. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida, both of which she taught graduate-level communications strategy courses.

Eunic continues to lead innovative campaigns that amplify marginalized voices, shift public narratives, increase voter turnout, and strengthen democracy nationwide.
