April Van Dyke

April Van Dyke is running for Humboldt County Superior Court.

Van Dyke has worked in public defense for 14 years. After graduating law school, she devoted her career to advocating for people who could not afford an attorney, acquiring extensive trial and litigation experience. In 2019, she moved to Humboldt County where she continued this work as Deputy Conflict Counsel.

If elected, Van Dyke would be the first openly queer judge elected in the county.
