Kristin Ang

Kristin Ang is running for re-election to the Port of Tacoma Commission in Washington State. She was first elected in 2019.

Ang was born in the Philippines and when she was elected in 2019, she became the first person of color ever elected to the Port of Tacoma Commission. She was elected by a 3% margin in that race. Ang is an alum of Emerge Washington and outside of her work on the commission works as an attorney.

Ang has also been endorsed by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, numerous labor unions and reproductive rights groups, and LGBTQ+ Victory Fund.
