Odessa Kelly

Odessa Kelly is running to represent Tennessee’s 5th Congressional district in the U.S. House. She would be the first openly LGBTQ person to elected to Congress from Tennessee.

Kelly is the Founder and Executive Director of Stand-Up Nashville, a nonprofit that advocates for racial and economic justice and has led the fight for a living wage in Nashville. She also previously spent many years working for city government.

Her priorities are economic equity, the environment, and voting rights. She has been endorsed by the SEIU, Collective PAC, Elect Black Women PAC, Indivisible, Peace Action, and the Working Families Party.
