Tina Podlodowski
Tina Podlodowski is the chairwoman of the Washington State Democrats. She ran for Washington secretary of state in 2016 but was defeated in the general election by the Republican incumbent.
Podlodowski is a first generation American—her parents immigrated from Europe after World War II. She began her career at Microsoft, first as a product manager, then worked her way up to an executive position. She served on the Seattle City Council from 1995 to 2000, and has since worked as an executive for various nonprofits and public advocacy groups including as a senior policy advisor at the office of former Seattle Mayor Ed Murray.
Podlodowski and her wife live in Seattle with their three children.
